As a driving Security Officer at a retail and mall location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for visitors, residents, and staff. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat02:15 PM - 10:45 PMSun02:15 PM - 10:45 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, shoppers, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of retail common areas, storefronts, parking areas, walkways, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed. Observe and report suspicious activity, property concerns, access issues, and hazards to site management and Allied Universal leadership. Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and other documentation in accordance with site‑specific procedures. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located. A Guard Card or license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
