Duties Assist dentists chairside during general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry procedures with precision and care Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental tools, and maintaining aseptic technique to ensure infection control standards are met Take and develop dental X-rays using digital imaging technology such as 3D scanners and other medical imaging equipment Manage patient records efficiently using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Dentrix while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy Perform vital signs assessments and document medical history accurately to support comprehensive patient care Support front desk operations as a dental receptionist when needed, including scheduling appointments and managing patient flow Maintain a clean, organized clinic environment by following infection control protocols and adhering to dental terminology standards Experience Prior experience working in a dental clinic setting is highly preferred, especially with general dentistry or pediatric dentistry practices Proficiency with dental software such as Dentrix for medical documentation and records management Knowledge of medical terminology, medical coding, and HIPAA compliance to ensure accurate record keeping and confidentiality Hands-on experience with X-ray procedures, medical imaging techniques, and 3D scanner technology Familiarity with infection control practices including aseptic technique and anatomy knowledge relevant to dental procedures Ability to perform chairside assisting efficiently using four-handed dentistry techniques in a fast-paced environment Strong understanding of dental assisting responsibilities across specialties like prosthodontics and endodontics What We Offer: Competitive salary & benefits A collaborative, friendly team environment Opportunities for professional development and growth Access to modern dental technology and equipment Focus on maintaining high standards of patient care Embark on a rewarding career where your skills make a difference!
