TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Ortho RN in Charleston, West Virginia, 25301!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Orthopedics Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required, including at least 1 year in specialty experience. License: Valid RN license required; pending applications accepted. Certifications: BCLS required; ACLS and NIH preferred. Must-Have: Experience in telemetry, IV starts, and managing specific medications and devices such as Cardizem, Heparin, Nitro, Argatroban, Amiodarone, Dopamine, CPMs, Orthopat, Constavac, Hemovac, Wound Vacs, and traction. Description: The unit provides care for patients who have undergone bone and joint reconstructive surgery, joint replacement, orthopedic trauma surgery, or have experienced sports injuries. The unit serves adult patients aged 18 and older. Patient ratios typically range from 1:4, occasionally flexing to 1:5. A team nursing model is implemented to enhance patient care. The role involves remote telemetry monitoring overseen by a tech. Every other weekend work is required. Floating within the scope of practice may be necessary to meet facility needs. The position requires effective collaboration with interdisciplinary teams including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy.
