OCI Core Infrastructure Engineer

Salary: $70,000 - 166,100 per year Requirements:

• We need hands-on experience building and operating end-to-end systems and services.
• We need experience driving security, documentation, and UX reviews, while partnering with Product Managers across the launch lifecycle.
• We need experience designing service-oriented architectures and RESTful web services.
• We need strong expertise in Java, J2EE, and object-oriented programming principles.
• We need experience with JWT, OAuth2, Okta, and similar authentication and authorization frameworks.
• We need strong knowledge of Core Java, including concurrency concepts, concurrency patterns, and thread-safe coding.
• We need solid Oracle PL/SQL development experience, including complex stored procedures, functions, packages, triggers, and bulk-processing routines for high-volume transactional systems.
• We need proven production database support experience, including SQL performance troubleshooting, locking and deadlocks, connectivity and connection-pool issues, scheduled jobs, and collaboration with DBAs on availability, access, and recovery.
• We need experience with at least one scripting language for automation, proof-of-concept work, or command-line tools.
• Preferred: hands-on experience developing and running services on public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
• Preferred: experience using AI/LLM technologies to improve Java application support, automate log and incident analysis, and build secure, reliable AI-enabled solutions.
• Preferred: understanding of multi-Availability Domain or multi-Availability Zone architectures and regional data center design.
• Preferred: experience building CI/CD pipelines with strong automated testing, deployment controls, and release management.
• Preferred: experience working with Docker and containerized applications.
• Preferred: experience partnering with internal customers to turn requests into prioritized features and work plans.
• Preferred: expertise applying threat modeling and other risk-identification techniques to design secure solutions.
• Preferred: experience with FedRAMP, PCI DSS, or similar compliance, security, and audit requirements.

• We need a BS or MS degree, or equivalent relevant experience.
• We need at least 7 years of software engineering or related experience.
