Senior Manager, Compliance and Enterprise AML Examinations

What You’ll Be Doing Lead the execution of examinations to assess the efficacy of anti‑money laundering (AML), anti‑terrorist financing (ATF), and sanctions‑related controls in CIBC’s US lines of business and functional units. Execute comprehensive, risk‑based and timely testing in accordance with CEEP’s core testing methodology. Effectively communicate and maintain proactive stakeholder engagement throughout each engagement. How You’ll Succeed Leadership: Deliver high‑quality examinations and build/maintain strong stakeholder relationships. Collaboration & Mentoring: Create a positive work environment and serve as a role model for managers supporting your examinations. Knowledge & Experience: Apply regulatory requirements and testing methodology to identify impactful recommendations for improvement. Qualifications Deep subject‑matter experience in AML, ATF, and sanctions, with extensive knowledge of regulations and practices affecting CIBC’s US lines of business. Working knowledge of global requirements is an advantage. Proficiency in applying testing principles to deliver high‑quality testing plans, fieldwork, and reporting. Undergraduate degree plus an auditing or accounting designation (CPA, CIA, CMA, CGMA preferred) or a recognized industry AML/ATF qualification (e.g., CAMS). Ownership mindset, bold leadership, passion for developing and coaching people, proven ability to lead or be part of diverse, high‑performing teams. Salary and Benefits Expected salary range: $125,000‑$150,000, market based on experience, qualifications, and location. Eligible for the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, including discretionary bonus.
