Now Hiring: License Verification Specialist (Remote)

Pay: $19.00–$20.00/hour
Location: 100% Remote (EST hours; candidates in the Eastern Time Zone strongly preferred)
Contract Length: 4 months with the possibility of extension

The Fountain Group is hiring a License Verification Specialist for a prominent client. This is a fully remote opportunity supporting a fast-paced research team responsible for gathering, verifying, and maintaining critical business licensing information. Candidates must include their location on their resume.

What You'll Do

• Gather, assess, and verify business license information through phone calls, emails, mail correspondence, and online research.
• Contact government agencies and other organizations to obtain documentation regarding license status, renewals, and expirations.
• Accurately maintain and update licensing records and databases with a high level of precision.
• Manage complex or sensitive verification tasks independently while exercising sound judgment.
• Maintain organized documentation, primarily in Microsoft Excel.
• Meet strict monthly production schedules and consistently deliver accurate, timely results.
• Prioritize multiple assignments and work effectively under competing deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to professionally interact with government agencies, partners, and internal teams.
• Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy and consistency.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and Adobe Acrobat/PDF.
• Ability to exercise discretion when handling sensitive information.
• Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
