Location: West Palm Beach, FL

Coverage Area: This position is on the East coast of Florida. It will cover as far South as Fort Lauderdale, as far North as Melbourne.

Travel: Within your region, and the occasional overnight (all travel expenses covered)

 

About the Role

Sheridan Dental Services brings dental care directly into nursing homes and skilled nursing facilities across Florida - for residents who often have no other practical way to access a dentist. As a Patient Care Advocate, you'll be the face of that mission in the field: building relationships with facility staff and residents, helping them understand and use the dental benefits available to them, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks between our clinical team, our back office, and the people we serve.

This is a relationship-driven, on-the-road role for someone who's patient, empathetic, and a genuinely strong communicator- comfortable on the phone, in an email, and in person with facility staff, elderly residents and their families.

Responsibilities

• Travel to nursing home facilities within your region 4–5 days per week (occasional overnight travel) to build and maintain relationships with facility staff.

• Educate residents and their families so they feel confident understanding and using their dental benefits.

• Serve as the liaison between facilities, residents, and Sheridan's clinical and back-office teams to keep every relationship running smoothly.

• Make outgoing calls and send emails to coordinate care, answer questions, and follow up with facilities and families.

• Keep accurate, up-to-date records of all customer interactions.

• Follow company communication procedures, guidelines, and policies.

Requirements

• Reliable personal vehicle and valid driver's license required - this is a field-based role with daily driving between facilities.

• Willingness to travel across the coverage area, including occasional overnight trips.

• Proven customer service or client-facing experience.

• Strong phone skills

• Comfort, patience and genuine warmth working with staff, elderly residents and their families.

• Excellent written and verbal communication.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Must be able to pass a background check and any facility-required health screenings (e.g., TB test, immunization records) prior to entering healthcare facilities
