You will enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.Primary Responsibilities:Manage, optimize, monitor, and maintain Azure infrastructure, including virtual machines, storage accounts, virtual networks, firewalls, KeyVaults, and App Services, ensuring high availability, performance, and securityAutomate cloud infrastructure deployment and management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies, with a primary focus on TerraformCollaborate with security teams to identify, prioritize, and remediate vulnerabilities across Azure resources, ensuring compliance with security standards and best practicesConfigure, support, and troubleshoot Azure networking services, including VNets, NSGs, load balancers, private endpoints, and Azure Firewalls across multiple environmentsAssess emerging technologies and industry trends to guide solution architecture, cloud strategy, and continuous improvement of DevOps practicesDesign, develop, and deploy AI-powered solutions to address complex business and infrastructure challenges while promoting responsible use of AI technologiesYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear directions on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, related discipline, or equivalent experience3+ years of relevant Windows system administration and engineering experience2+ years of experience administering, configuring, and optimizing Microsoft Azure infrastructure2+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code and automating infrastructure provisioning using Terraform2+ years of experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub1+ years of experience managing and configuring Azure networking components (such as VNets, NSGs, firewalls, or private endpoints)1+ years of experience identifying and remediating cloud security vulnerabilities1+ years of experience with Azure Services - Azure App Service, Event Hubs, Service Bus, Azure SQL, Azure MI, and Data FactoryPreferred Qualifications:Experience designing, developing, or deploying AI-powered developer tools, platforms, or automations to enhance developer productivity and DevOps workflowsMicrosoft Azure Certification preferred*All Telecommuters will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy.Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
