Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Nurse – Aspirus Rhinelander. This position involves providing specialized patient care in the postoperative recovery setting. The role requires a compassionate and dependable healthcare professional to manage patient recovery and ensure safety during the immediate postoperative period.

Job Details

• Position Description: PACU RN with a 13-week contract starting as soon as possible, scheduled for 8-hour days.
• Required Qualifications: Active Wisconsin or compact Registered Nurse (RN) License, American Heart Association (AHA) or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
• Schedule: Dayshift, 8 hours per shift, 40 hours per week.
• Preferred Qualifications: None listed.
• Additional Information:
• Candidates must have at least 2+ years of PACU experience.
• Charting experience required with Epic system.
• Strong time management, resilience, dependability, accountability, and positive attitude are essential.
• Contract includes approximately 36 hours at low census.
• During flu season, travel staff who decline flu and COVID vaccinations are required to wear masks at all times, in compliance with facility policy.
• The position requires an Associate Degree or Certificate.
• Call requirements include approximately one weekend every 6-7 weeks, starting Friday at 3:30 PM through Monday at 7:00 AM, and one weeknight every other week from 3:30 PM to 7:00 AM.
• The radius rule prohibits living within 50 miles of the facility.
