Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our dynamic therapy department at Shippenville Nursing and Rehab in Shippenville, Pennsylvania, United States . As a COTA, you will play a vital role in helping our patients achieve their full potential through targeted therapy sessions.
Responsibilities:
Assist occupational therapists in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans for patients
Conduct occupational therapy sessions, including exercises, activities, and interventions to promote physical and mental well-being
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure seamless care coordination
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to share knowledge and best practices
Maintain accurate and timely records of patient progress and treatment plans
Requirements:
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) certification
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher in occupational therapy or related field preferred
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and strong analytical skills
