Legal Assistant

Parsons Behle & Latimer, a regional law firm, has an immediate opening for a Legal Assistant in our Missoula, Montana office. Position requires 3+ years of legal experience in litigation, transactional or both, in a professional legal setting. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; careful attention to detail; and excellent organizational and communication skills. Law firm experience is a plus. Responsibilities include supporting attorneys and paralegals with administrative tasks, answering phones, scheduling meetings, and providing virtual backup legal assistance for any of our other offices when needed. Educational achievement may be considered in lieu of experience. This is an in-office position, and the hours are 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday – Friday. The minimum hourly rate is negotiable commensurate with experience and/or education.
