Overview Registered Nurse - NICU travel assignment in Glendale, CA. Start date 08/17/2026 for 8 weeks, with a weekly pay range of $2,139 to $2,204 per week and guaranteed hours of 48 per week. Key Highlights Weekly pay range: $2,139-$2,204 per week Guaranteed hours: 48 per week Contract duration: 8 weeks Shift: Nights, 3x12-hour shifts Start date: 08/17/2026 EPIC backfill with recent EPIC and Cerner experience required Responsibilities Deliver coordinated nursing care for neonatal patients according to established standards and the nursing process Collect relevant data, assess, analyze, and develop an individualized care plan; implement and evaluate care Administer medications and therapies as ordered; monitor patient response and adjust as needed Collaborate with the patient’s family and multidisciplinary team; participate in discharge planning for continuity of care Supervise and direct activities of various levels of nursing staff; delegate duties appropriately Maintain accurate documentation and uphold safety, infection control, and quality standards Requirements Current RN licensure in the state of practice (California) Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) required Basic Life Support (BLS) from an approved vendor required (BLS/HS-BLS/RQI BLS acceptable per policy) Facility-specific certification: BLS (as above) EPIC and Cerner experience required (recent and proficient) Education: BSN preferred; at least two years of recent NICU or acute care experience preferred Ability to work in a hospital NICU setting and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team Benefits and Support 24/7 recruiter and travel support Dedicated assignment support Extension opportunities for ongoing assignments Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
