Tryfacta is seeking a Medical Technologist (MT) / Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) for our client in Lincoln ME 04457. This is a 13-week contract assignment. If you meet the qualifications listed below and are interested, please apply now!

Location: Lincoln ME 04457

Duration: 13 weeks

Work Schedule: Days, 3x12 6a-6:30p

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

• Perform routine and complex laboratory testing with accuracy and efficiency.
• Conduct Blood Bank testing.
• Perform microbiology procedures, including gram stains, planting cultures, and blood cultures.
• Collect patient specimens through proficient phlebotomy.
• Follow infection prevention and COVID-19 safety protocols, including proper PPE usage.
• Prioritize workload, multitask effectively, and maintain accurate laboratory documentation.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure timely and quality patient care.
• Work independently when required.

To be considered for this position, you should have:

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Laboratory Technology or Medical Technology program.
• Minimum 2 years of laboratory experience.
• Active Maine MT/MLT license (if applicable) or eligibility to practice.
• Current BLS certification.
• ASCP or AMT certification required.
• Strong Blood Bank testing experience.
• Proficiency in phlebotomy.
• Microbiology experience preferred; candidates must have experience with gram stains, culture plating, and blood cultures.
• Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
