Position Description
The Cloud Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for managing and optimizing AWS infrastructure supporting FMS-NG. This role ensures system availability, scalability, and security while supporting operational continuity and performance optimization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in IT or related field
- 10+ years of experience in infrastructure/cloud engineering
- Hands-on AWS experience required
- Strong knowledge of networking, Linux (RedHat), and security
- AWS Solutions Architect certification preferred
Responsibilities
- Manage AWS services including EC2, VPC, S3, and CloudWatch
- Perform infrastructure monitoring, alerting, and performance tuning
- Coordinate OS patching and maintenance activities
- Support disaster recovery (DR) and continuity of operations (COOP)
- Plan capacity and ensure high availability of systems
- Implement security controls and infrastructure hardening
- Coordinate downtime, upgrades, and environment management
