Position Description

The Cloud Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for managing and optimizing AWS infrastructure supporting FMS-NG. This role ensures system availability, scalability, and security while supporting operational continuity and performance optimization.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in IT or related field
10+ years of experience in infrastructure/cloud engineering
Hands-on AWS experience required
Strong knowledge of networking, Linux (RedHat), and security
AWS Solutions Architect certification preferred

Responsibilities

Manage AWS services including EC2, VPC, S3, and CloudWatch
Perform infrastructure monitoring, alerting, and performance tuning
Coordinate OS patching and maintenance activities
Support disaster recovery (DR) and continuity of operations (COOP)
Plan capacity and ensure high availability of systems
Implement security controls and infrastructure hardening
Coordinate downtime, upgrades, and environment management
