General Liability Litigation Attorney

Our client, a leading AmLaw firm with offices across the US, are looking to grow their litigation team in San Francisco with a number of strategic hires. This position is ideal for a motivated attorney with at least a year of defense litigation experience who is eager to build a long term career with a collaborative and high performing team. Responsibilities Independently handle all phases of complex civil litigation, with an emphasis on catastrophic injury, product liability, construction defect, habitability, transportation, or other general liability matters. Regularly conduct & defend depositions, handle court appearances, and motion practice. Effectively prepare and examine witnesses, ensuring thorough case preparation and strong representation of clients. Collaborate with attorneys, team members, and seasoned Partners on high-impact legal projects, contributing to a collaborative, results-driven environment. Qualifications A year of civil or commercial litigation experience, ideally with any of catastrophic injury, product liability, construction defect, habitability, transportation, or other general liability matters. Juris Doctorate from ABA-accredited law school. Must be admitted in California. Proficiency in managing complex litigation from inception to trial, including preparation of pleadings and briefs, managing discovery and depositions, and conducting legal research, analysis, and writing.
