SAP S/4 Architect

Product Owner (SAP) / Charlotte, NC Hybrid Role / MUST BE ON W2 / Contract-to-Hire

About our Customer & Role: Our direct customer, a global Fortune 500 company & a leader in the Food Services industry is looking for a senior SAP S/4 HANA Product owner , who will be responsible for maximizing the value of the product that the team builds. Product Owner will work closely with the product teams, customers, and stakeholders to ensure the S4 Product meets our business"s needs and expectations. Collaborates with other product owners, technical and functional resources, and business owners to align the product portfolio with the enterprise strategy.

Qualifications:

• Experience with SAP, specifically FI, SD, MM, IM, EWM, AM, AP, AR, CO or PCA modules; S/4 HANA experience a plus.
• 3-5 years of experience as a Product Owner.
• Strong knowledge and experience with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
• 5+ years of Accounting/Finance experience preferred, preferably in customer-to-cash, procure to pay, or record-to-report value chains.
• Experience with tools and technologies, such as ADO and Miro.
• Certification as a Safe Agile Product Owner or Safe Agile Practitioner is a plus.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proven ability to define and deliver products that meet customer needs and business goals.
• Strong analytical and facilitation skills to communicate technical and process info effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain deep expertise in the owned product area, serving as the primary source of knowledge and support for the broader project team and key stakeholders.
• Learn complex business and facilitate projects and decisions across disparate user groups.
• Partner with the Product Manager to contribute to the product vision and strategic roadmap.
• Collaborate with product management to understand features for execution, ensuring quality, performance, usability, and security standards.
• Develop, scope, and define backlog items guiding the product team.
• Create, manage, and validate user stories with the product team to ensure readiness before iterations.
• Strong leadership and decision-making abilities focusing on delivering business value and user-centric solutions.
• Lead agile team backlog prioritization and management.
• Partner with Coaches to remove impediments and model agile practices.
• Keep leadership updated on progress, risks, and impediments.
• Act as liaison between vendors, cross-functional teams, field implementation, and business stakeholders.
• Provide quality advice on functionality with well-thought analysis and deliverables.
• Connect with customer to validate design, execute demos, and ensure business value delivery.
• Assist Product Manager with continuous improvement and best practices initiatives.
• Develop strong business relationships, influence stakeholders, and partner to develop superior solutions.
• Participate in Safe Agile ceremonies such as PI planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives, etc.
• Provide coaching and mentoring on Safe Agile principles and practices.
• Coordinate with other product teams for solution validation testing.
