Assembler

Talascend is currently seeking an Assembler for a contract opportunity with our client in Clearwater, Florida .


Overview


the assembler will be responsible for assembling fabricated parts at floor stations, testing and calibrating parts to meet specifications, and using hand and power tools to assemble units according to product requirements. the role involves identifying units that fail tests or tolerance levels and performing necessary repairs.


Responsibilities

• assemble fabricated parts at floor stations
• test and calibrate parts and mechanisms to ensure they meet tolerances and specifications
• use hand tools and power tools to assemble units according to product specifications
• identify units that fail tests or tolerance levels and perform repairs as necessary

Qualifications

• high school diploma or equivalent
• 2-4 years of experience in the field or related area
• knowledge of common concepts, practices, and procedures within the field
• ability to follow instructions and pre-established guidelines
• works under immediate supervision and exercises limited independent judgment
