Warehouse Inventory ControlTo deliver supplies, materials, and equipment, and maintain inventory control and records; perform related work.Essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may be assigned as needed):Determine storage areas for incoming shipments and allocate appropriate space within the warehouseAssist in physically moving incoming items to designated storage areas and supervise storage activitiesLook through work orders to determine order picking activities and pick orders according to the specific instructions providedMatch order information in order cards with information on picked items to ensure conformityOperate forklifts to pick heavy boxes and transport them to checking areasAscertain the quality and quantity of picked items and ensure that they are safely delivered to the delivery palletDelivering the finished products to the warehouse and put in correct areaRecord damaged or defective items and replace them according to company policiesHandle returns and exchanges by ensuring that reverse distribution processes are followed properlySelect the method of consignment utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and ratesCompare the amount and identification numbers of goods against ordersKeep all production lines stocked, pick up all completed orders from the production linesAssemble wood and cardboard containers or pick pre-assembled containersRoute products to departmentsAttach identifying information and delivery instructions on containersOrganize records of goods shippedRequired skills:Microsoft Office Suite - Proficient in Excel - ForkliftPhysical requirements:Able to lift 50 pounds
