The work setting is a repair/maintenance shop at our Ball Ground, GA hauling site. Responsibilities Inspect, diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on a wide range of vehicles and equipment Estimate time and material costs for vehicle repairs and new parts Perform work within Standard Labor Repair Times (SRTs) Respond to service calls for emergency breakdowns Conduct safety checks on vehicles, prioritizing employee and community safety Complete required paperwork documenting parts usage and repair times Assist senior mechanics in the completion of project work Review, complete, or assign repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate/OSHA standards and established safety procedures Qualifications 2 years of relevant work experience Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Over 18 years of age Legally eligible to work in the United States Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations Successful completion of pre‑employment drug screen and physical People Who Thrive Here Team players who care about everyone in the shop Individuals who enjoy working independently and as part of a team People who appreciate variety and are ready for daily challenges Determined problem solvers Work Environment & Physical Demands Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching, and climbing; continuous standing, walking, and grasping; occasional sitting and balancing Exposure to physical occupational risks such as cuts, burns, and toxic chemicals Exposure to physical environment involving dirt, odors, noise, and weather extremes Operations in both indoor garage/shop and outdoor conditions, including inclement weather, heat, and humidity If this sounds like what you’ve been looking for, apply now to start your tomorrow, today. #J-18808-Ljbffr WM
