Prepared Food Lead

Position Summary As a Prepared Foods and Café Department Lead you will drive sales in your area and supervise your team of hourly associates who create and serve meals to our members – giving them more of what they love, for less. You will model expertise in Prepared Foods and Café and work collaboratively with other team leaders to ensure the total club meets the members’ expectations. What You’ll Do Lead the team within all prepared foods departments, facilitating rotations through different fresh areas and managing members’ needs to deliver on the business plan. Maintain in‑depth knowledge of floor and back‑room operations, ensuring the prepared foods area meets company and regulatory standards for quality, inventory, production, sanitation, equipment usage, safety, and compliance. Manage seasonality, production, new products, recipes, processes, and specifications, prioritizing time between areas. Collaborate with associates and third parties to ensure the team has resources, share knowledge, and train the team. Leverage digital tools to plan for and drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement. Drive business results, ensuring operational excellence, staffing, audit, compliance, and merchandise display according to the layout plan. Act as a Talent Ambassador, teaching and training the team, identifying training needs, and fostering career growth. Communicate and implement processes and practices to meet business needs, analyze information, monitor progress, and address improvement opportunities. Promote compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity. Lead and participate in teams, sharing resources, information, and tools, determining customer needs and business priorities. Respect diversity, build strong relationships, and motivate the team. Strive for excellence, take calculated risks, and drive continuous improvements. Minimum Qualifications 6 months experience in a fresh production department or 6 months experience supervising a team. Must be 18 years of age or older. Successfully complete all required job training and assessments within the prescribed time period. Preferred Qualifications Experience supervising a team. Food Handler Certification (Food Safety). Compensation & Benefits Hourly wage range: $23.00 – $31.00 (actual rate may be higher based on location).
