Required Skills & Experience
• 7 - 10+ years of Project Controls experience supporting large engineering, construction, infrastructure, industrial, or energy projects\n• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant project controls experience\n• Strong background in project scheduling, cost control, forecasting, budgeting, risk management, and change management\n• Advanced experience developing, maintaining, and analyzing integrated project schedules and critical path analysis\n• Experience monitoring project performance against baselines and providing recovery plans or corrective action recommendations\n• Hands-on experience with Project Management Information Systems (PMIS) and project controls tools\n• Proven ability to work directly with project managers, clients, and cross-functional stakeholders to establish project controls processes and reporting\n• Experience implementing, optimizing, or administering PMIS platforms such as Kahua, Aurigo, Oracle Primavera Unifier, InEight, Procore, e-Builder, Autodesk Construction Cloud, or similar tools

- Background supporting power delivery, substations, transmission, renewable energy, power generation, industrial facilities, oil & gas, pipelines, mining, or environmental projects\n-Experience facilitating workshops and translating business requirements into operational processes and system requirements\n- Previous consulting experience advising clients on project controls maturity, governance, and process improvement initiatives

Job Description

Day-to-Day\nThe Project Controls Manager will partner closely with project managers, clients, and cross-functional teams to establish and oversee project controls processes for large capital engineering and construction projects. On a daily basis, they will develop and analyze project schedules, monitor budgets and forecasts, track project performance against established baselines, manage risk and change control activities, and provide reporting and dashboards to leadership. This individual will also support the implementation and optimization of Project Management Information Systems (PMIS), translating project controls requirements into practical workflows, reporting tools, and governance processes. Additionally, they will collaborate with stakeholders across engineering, procurement, construction, environmental, permitting, and operations teams to identify project risks, recommend corrective actions, drive process improvements, and ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget. Depending on project needs, this person may also mentor and lead project controls staff while serving as a trusted advisor to clients on project controls best practices, PMIS strategy, and operational efficiency initiatives.
