Description

American Traveler is hiring a Labor & Delivery RN for a Women's Services night shift travel position requiring active MI RN licensure and 3+ years of L&D, postpartum, and newborn experience.

Details

• Family Birthing Center (LDRP) unit in a 36-bed hospital serving the Western Upper Michigan Peninsula
• Level III trauma center with Level I maternal and neonatal designation
• 5 LDRP beds, 3 overflow beds, and 3 triage beds
• Patient population includes low to high risk cases and low volume SUD patients
• AWHONN staffing ratios followed
• Equipment includes main OR, epidural, nitrous, and Monica Novi wireless monitoring
• EHR systems used: Meditech and OBIX
• Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekend requirement every third weekend
• No call requirements
• No floating requirements

Requirements

• Active MI RN license required
• Required certifications: NRP, BLS, EFM
• Minimum 3 years of experience required
• Labor, Delivery, and Postpartum experience required
• ADN required
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
• Active Nursys/licensure verification required at time of consideration

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care across labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn services
• Scrubs may be any color except for prints featuring cartoon characters
• Blue jeans are not permitted as attire
• Permanent residence must be more than 60 miles from the facility
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full-time while on assignment
• Located near Lake Superior's beaches and coastline
