Environmental Test Technician Salary: $26 – $35 per hour (Hourly) Compensation: Full‑time With numerous offices across the country we are an industry‑leading space hardware development company. We specialize in the design, manufacture, integration, and test of critical spacecraft components. As an Environmental Engineering Technician, you will play a critical role in our operations. Your responsibilities will include: Perform environmental testing of aerospace mechanisms using established procedures. Tests include static load, thermal vacuum, benchtop operation, separation, shock, and vibration. Inspect mechanical and electrical components after test completion to ensure adherence to quality standards and project specifications. Assist with non‑conformance investigations, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Utilize common aerospace assembly and inspection tools such as torque wrenches, load cells, feeler gauges, calipers, and multimeters. Assist in writing technical work instructions related to Environmental Testing, ensuring clarity and comprehensibility for all team members. Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols, maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the aerospace or engineering industry. Familiarity with common aerospace assembly and inspection tools, including torque wrenches, load cells, feeler gauges, calipers, and multimeters. Proven experience assisting with writing technical work instructions related to Environmental Testing (preferred). Experience working in an aerospace cleanroom environment is preferred. Understanding of advanced electronic circuitry. Experience using electronics equipment (e.g., DMMs, power supplies, DAQs, etc.). Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
