Aire Serv of the Gold Country is looking for an HVAC Home Comfort Designer / Outside Sales Professional to join our team. Our Home Comfort Designers meet primarily with residential customers, with some light commercial opportunities, to evaluate their heating and cooling needs and design HVAC replacement solutions tailored to their homes, comfort goals, and budgets. This isn't about simply handing a customer an estimate. It's about listening to what the customer wants, evaluating their home, educating them about their options, and helping them make an informed decision while providing the professional, Five-Star experience Aire Serv is known for. What You'll Do As a Home Comfort Designer, you'll manage the customer experience from the initial in-home consultation through the transition to installation.

• Conduct professional in-home consultations and Home Comfort Surveys
• Evaluate existing heating and cooling equipment and identify customer comfort concerns
• Perform heat gain/loss and load calculations as required
• Design appropriately sized HVAC replacement solutions
• Present system and comfort options clearly and professionally
• Educate customers about equipment, efficiency, warranties, available upgrades, and comfort solutions
• Present available financing options
• Identify and present appropriate Indoor Air Quality solutions
• Prepare accurate proposals and complete required sales documentation
• Follow the established Aire Serv sales process
• Follow up consistently on unsold estimates and open opportunities
• Coordinate sold projects with our office and installation teams
• Follow up with customers before and after installation
• Maintain accurate customer and job information
• Protect company pricing and profitability
• Build long-term customer relationships that generate referrals and repeat business
• Deliver an exceptional Five-Star customer experience

Compensation & Earning Potential Expected Compensation Range: $60,000-$100,000 per year Typical expected annual earnings for this position are approximately $75,000, based on expected sales performance. This is a performance-based sales position. Actual earnings will vary based on individual sales results, and commission earning potential is uncapped. Training Phase New Home Comfort Designers begin with paid training. Training Pay: $18.50 per hour or applicable minimum wage, whichever is higher. The typical training period is approximately 4-6 weeks and includes:

• Product knowledge
• Financing
• Aire Serv sales process
• ServiceTitan
• Ride-alongs
• Home Comfort Survey procedures
• Load calculations

Management determines when the HCD has successfully completed training and is prepared to transition to independent outside sales. Outside Sales Compensation After successfully completing training, compensation transitions to:

• $1,000 weekly recoverable draw against earned commissions
• 6% commission - Bronze package
• 7% commission - Silver package
• 8% commission - Gold package
• 8% commission - Platinum package
• Additional commission opportunities
• Monthly performance incentives
• Annual performance incentive opportunities
• Uncapped commissions

The recoverable draw is an advance against future earned commissions and is reconciled during monthly commission calculations. Additional Earning Opportunities Our compensation plan rewards additional sales performance and business development. Additional opportunities may include:

• +1% commission for qualifying Indoor Air Quality products
• +1% commission on self-generated leads
• Bonus opportunities for qualifying self-generated new customers/Advantage Plans
• Monthly performance bonuses based on qualifying net sales
• Annual performance incentives

The current compensation plan provides additional monthly incentives beginning at $120,000 in monthly net sales and an annual incentive opportunity upon reaching $1.5 million in qualifying annual net sales. Minimum Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organization and time-management skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Ability to use an iPad, CRM, estimating software, and other company technology
• Ability and willingness to learn HVAC equipment and system design
• Ability to learn financing programs and explain available options to customers
• Willingness to participate in ongoing sales and technical training
• Ability to work a schedule that meets customer and business needs

Previous HVAC, home improvement, construction, or in-home sales experience is preferred but not required for the right candidate. What We Provide
