Material Planner

Position Overview On-Board Services is hiring a Material Planner in Wilmington, DE. About Us On-Board Services, Inc. is an on-site contract service provider for a local manufacturing entity, offering full‑time positions and benefits including 401(k) and insurance plans. Position Details Position Type: Contract Job Location: Wilmington, DE Benefits: 401(k), Dental insurance, Life Insurance, Medical Insurance, Vision Insurance Compensation: $19.00 per hour Shift: Monday–Friday, 1st shift Duties & Responsibilities Assist Production Scheduler in building daily and weekly schedules. Build production plans in SAP. Print production documents and batch tickets for technicians. Input completed batch tickets into SAP. Oversee batch progress and verify that materials, equipment, and documentation are prepared and completed correctly. Stage raw materials for production. Complete weekly inventory cycle counts. Coordinate with warehouse, quality, and maintenance teams to maintain smooth production flow. Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying inefficiencies, proposing solutions, and participating in investigations or audits. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent with 1+ year experience in pharmaceutical excipient manufacturing or equivalent manufacturing experience. Experience with SAP. Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to provide clear instruction and constructive feedback. Competent with common computer software and able to complete electronic documentation accurately. High attention to detail with strong organizational and planning skills. Ability to become forklift certified. Must be able to wear a respirator. Ability to work rotating shifts and overtime as needed. Ability to lift 55 lbs and work around strong magnets. Physical Requirements Lift 55 kg. Stand or sit for extended periods. Preferred Skills Fork truck operator certification (training available).
