Position Overview

We're in search of a talented and empathetic Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to join our expanding team of imaging experts who are dedicated to providing outstanding care. You will leverage cutting-edge ultrasound technology to conduct diagnostic procedures, partner closely with a supportive group of healthcare professionals, and deliver peace of mind to patients through accurate, timely imaging.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a wide array of ultrasound examinations, such as abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during procedures, clearly and compassionately explaining each step
• Work collaboratively with radiologists and referring physicians to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Manage and maintain imaging equipment, promptly reporting any malfunctions
• Accurately document procedures and maintain patient records within electronic medical systems
• Keep abreast of advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Necessary Certifications

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent organization
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred

Essential Skills

• Strong technical ability in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
