Position Overview

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a wide range of ultrasound examinations, including those for abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging.
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during all procedures, providing clear and compassionate explanations at each step.
• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure delivery of high-quality diagnostic images.
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, with a proactive approach to reporting any technical issues.
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records within our electronic medical record system.
• Stay informed about advancements in ultrasound techniques and best practices.

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
• Graduates from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program are preferred.

Certifications Required

• Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent is required.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred.
