Description – What You'll Do

• Conduct routine and advanced diagnostic tests—including chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more—following established protocols.
• Analyze lab results for accuracy, address discrepancies, and perform preventive maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Assist in the collection of specimens and prepare samples for testing as necessary.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, provide training to new staff or students, and contribute to maintaining lab quality standards.
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment while complying with all regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health qualification, combined with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year of employment.
• Maintain current certification throughout the duration of employment.
