Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 8 years of experience in product management or related technical role. 3 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end‑to‑end, 0 to 1). 3 years of experience developing or launching infrastructure products or technologies within networking, storage, compute hardware, databases, file systems, data analytics, cluster management, and other software infrastructure areas. Preferred qualifications Experience in one or more of: compute architecture, data center infrastructure, CPU (x86/Arm) and I/O technologies, Cloud Infrastructure, Storage; understanding of the operational aspects of Cloud Servers. Understanding of different workload requirements and their demands on the underlying infrastructure, familiarity with key Enterprise workloads such as MSSQL, SAP HANA. Understanding of locally attached Storage systems (LSDD) and performance needs. About the job At Google, we put our users first. Responsibilities Lead and harmonize processes to define, identify, collect, and track appropriate product or business metrics, both quantitative and qualitative for new or existing products or business ventures. Build and scale new CPU‑based VMs under Google Compute Engine, including deep‑diving into one of the fastest growing VM segments for Cloud to meet the needs of AI/ML and general‑purpose compute needs. Drive the roadmap for CPU and Memory technologies, Guest OS support, network, storage, hypervisor, and offloads. Analyze competitive dynamics and industry trends on where the innovation is happening for both workloads and hardware.
