We are looking for additional Hospitalists to become part of our esteemed hospital medicine team at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady, NY. Opportunity Highlights:

• Day Shifts: 7 AM to 7 PM, following a 7 on/7 off schedule
• Closed ICU: Focus on patient care without ICU responsibilities
• Collaborative Environment: Work within a team-oriented setting
• Supportive Team: Join a dedicated group of physicians and advanced practitioners

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive medical care to hospitalized patients, including admissions, daily rounds, and discharge planning.
• Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to create and execute patient care plans.
• Address medical emergencies and provide prompt interventions to stabilize patients.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions in the electronic medical record.

Requirements:

• Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine is required.
• An active New York State license and DEA registration are necessary.
• New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Recruitment Package:

We offer a comprehensive salary and benefits package, which includes:

• Competitive Salary: Starting at $283,920, with opportunities for additional earnings through productivity.
• The stated salary represents the initial range of total compensation and does not encompass productivity bonuses, quality and performance incentives, extra shift payments, or other cash compensation relevant to the role. Additionally, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits from their medical group employer. This salary range is provided in compliance with state law and may vary based on the factors mentioned.
