This is a great opportunity for a Senior Accountant to join a growing, privately owned company with $25 million in revenue and 80 employees . This highly visible role will support month-end close , general ledger accounting , financial reporting , inventory accounting , and provide occasional payroll backup , while also assisting with process improvements, reporting enhancements, and an upcoming ERP conversion . The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of General Ledger accounting experience and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance . Strong Excel skills , including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs/XLOOKUPs, and SUMIFS , are required. This role is ideal for an experienced Senior Accountant who enjoys wearing multiple hats, contributing to special projects, and growing with the organization. Compensation ranges from $70,000-$85,000+ , plus a bonus opportunity , 401(k) match , and PTO . Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant to join a growing and collaborative organization. This position will play a key role in the day-to-day accounting function, supporting general ledger activities, month-end close, account reconciliations, financial reporting, and operational accounting processes . The Senior Accountant will work closely with finance leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure financial data is accurate, timely, and well-supported, while also assisting with process improvements and special projects as the business continues to grow.

• Execute monthly and year-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and financial analysis .
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts , bank accounts, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and other balance sheet accounts.
• Support accounting for inventory, commissions, payroll entries, taxes, and intercompany transactions .
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities as needed.
• Prepare and distribute recurring financial and operational reports for leadership.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, audit preparation, tax-related requests, and various business improvement initiatives.
• Maintain financial records and reporting structures within the company's ERP/accounting system.
• Provide backup support for select payroll, administrative, and operational accounting functions.
• Participate in system enhancements, reporting automation efforts, and other special projects.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
• 5+ years of General Ledger accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, account reconciliations, accrual accounting, and financial reporting .
• Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs/XLOOKUPs, and SUMIFS .
• Experience working within an ERP or accounting software environment.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

This is a Permanent position based out of Millington, TN.

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
