Job Summary:

The Maintenance Assistant supports the maintenance and
upkeep of Ascension Academy's facilities and grounds.


This role involves assisting with various tasks to ensure a safe, functional, and attractive
environment for students and staff.
• Responsibilities:
• Assist with general maintenance tasks, such as repairs, painting, and
landscaping.
• Perform minor repairs to buildings, equipment, and furniture.
• Maintain and care for the grounds, including mowing, watering, and
weeding.
• Assist with setting up and taking down for events and activities.
• Ensure that safety equipment is in good working order.
• Assist with maintaining building systems, such as HVAC and plumbing.
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines.
• Skills and Qualifications:
• Basic knowledge of maintenance and repair techniques.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Good physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor.
• Reliability and punctuality.
• A positive attitude and willingness to work.
