Step into a dynamic contract opportunity as a Physical Therapist supporting students across schools in the Riverside area for the 2026/2027 academic year. This full-time, onsite role offers meaningful work in an itinerant position, which requires flexibility to travel between various school sites. Your expertise will directly impact student mobility, functional independence, and access to education, while collaborating with a dedicated educational team.
Key Qualifications:
- Active California Physical Therapist license
- Prior experience working within California schools
- Bilingual Spanish proficiency is a strong plus
- Comfortable traveling between multiple school locations
- Ability to supervise Physical Therapist Assistants as needed
- Passion for supporting students with diverse physical needs
Role Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy interventions for students
- Develop IEP goals and actively participate in meetings with multidisciplinary teams
- Document progress and maintain clear, compliant records
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to support each student’s educational environment
- Supervise and mentor Physical Therapist Assistants to ensure quality care delivery
- Adapt services flexibly to meet the unique needs at each school site
