Job Title: Junior Account Manager
Location: Anaheim Hills, CA
Hours: 8am to 5pm Mon-Fri
Pay rate: $24.00-$25.00

Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and professional Junior Account Manager to support our mortgage operations team. This role is primarily responsible for verifying borrower bank accounts through third-party vendors and directly with financial institutions, while also assisting with data entry and employment verification. The ideal candidate will possess strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify borrower bank account information through approved third-party verification vendors and directly with banking institutions.
• Communicate professionally with banks and financial institutions to obtain and confirm required documentation and account details.
• Conduct employment verifications with employers and maintain accurate records of communications.
• Perform data entry and ensure information is entered accurately and timely into company systems.
• Review documentation for completeness and identify discrepancies or missing information.
• Follow established procedures and compliance requirements related to mortgage lending operations.
• Maintain clear and detailed notes regarding verification activities and customer files.
• Collaborate with loan officers, processors, underwriters, and other internal team members to support loan file completion.
• Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with borrowers, employers, banks, and other third parties.
• Assist with additional administrative and operational duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Previous experience in mortgage, banking, financial services, account management, customer service, or administrative support is preferred. Mortgage experience is not required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle confidential financial information with professionalism and discretion.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines.
• Comfortable making outbound calls and communicating with financial institutions and employers.
