Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the intensity, frequency, and duration of clients' mood disorder symptoms, ensuring a tailored approach to each individual’s unique challenges.

• Collaborate with clients to develop customized treatment plans that address their specific needs, goals, and preferences through detailed discussions and regular feedback sessions.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to support client mental health progress.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment alternatives, and self-care practices to foster a supportive healing environment.

• Monitor client progress meticulously and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure they remain effective and relevant.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to facilitate integrated care that optimally addresses clients’ mental health needs.

• Stay current with the latest research and therapeutic practices in the treatment of mood disorders to enhance treatment efficacy.

• Maintain clear, accurate, and confidential records of client interactions in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

• Actively participate in case consultations, professional development workshops, and peer-support groups.

• Advocate for clients’ needs, particularly for underserved populations including the homeless, refugees, and victims of domestic violence, aligning with our mission to mitigate mental health stigma.

This position primarily serves individuals suffering from mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Qualifications\n
