A leading client is seeking a temporary procurement professional to support IT strategic sourcing initiatives. This individual will collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify sourcing opportunities, analyze spend data, support competitive bidding events, and drive projects through implementation.
Job title: IT Sourcing Manager or IT Sourcing Analyst
Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30 – 4:30 pm
Pay rate: $48/hr - $58/hr depending on experience
Location: Hybrid in Piscataway
Duration: 5 months, may extend depending on the need.
Key responsibilities:

• Lead and support strategic sourcing projects from opportunity identification through supplier selection and implementation.
• Conduct spend and data analysis to identify cost savings, value creation, and process improvement opportunities.
• Develop and analyze RFI/RFPs, supplier proposals, and business recommendations.
• Work closely with internal customers to understand requirements and deliver customer-focused procurement solutions.
• Manage multiple sourcing projects simultaneously, including timelines, stakeholder communications, and deliverables.
• Support supplier negotiations, contracting activities, and sourcing strategy development.
• Present findings, recommendations, and project updates to stakeholders in a clear and professional manner.

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of strategic sourcing, procurement, category management, or related experience.
• Experience managing sourcing projects and cross-functional initiatives supporting the IT sourcing category.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Data analytics and reporting skills.
• Project management skills

Pay Details: $48.00 to $58.00 per hour
