Scrum Master Share Contractual Raritan, NJ
Overview:
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Guide the team in following Agile principles and Scrum framework.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to ensure a well-maintained product backlog.
- Remove impediments and blockers to keep the team focused and productive.
- Foster collaboration, transparency, and communication across development teams and stakeholders.
- Track and report on team performance, sprint progress, and delivery metrics.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement by identifying and implementing process enhancements.
- Ensure adherence to Agile best practices while adapting them to the team's needs.
- Mentor team members and stakeholders on Agile values, principles, and practices.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Project Manager.
- Strong understanding of Scrum, Agile methodologies, and frameworks (e.g., Kanban, SAFe).
- Excellent facilitation, conflict resolution, and servant-leadership skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
- Ability to coach and mentor teams in adopting Agile practices.
- Experience with Agile project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Rally, Azure DevOps).
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PSM I/II, or SAFe Scrum Master certification.
- Experience working in Scaled Agile (SAFe, LeSS, or Nexus) environments.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Background in software development or IT project delivery.
