This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM (4 x 10's schedule with additional call requirements)

Job Description

Join a high-volume Operating Room team that specializes in Neuro/Spine, Orthopedic Trauma, and other surgical specialties. Be part of a dynamic group in a Level II Trauma Center moving towards Level I status by year-end. This position offers a collaborative environment with a strong focus on team work and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the operating room as a surgical attendant, ensuring the availability of instruments and supplies.
• Support patient transport and room turnover processes.
• Coordinate with RNs, CSTs, and FAs to facilitate efficient surgical procedures.
• Participate in on-call duties, including handling trauma backup as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Prior experience in an operating room setting preferred.
• Certifications specific to surgical assistance or related fields are advantageous.
• Advanced skills in assisting with high-volume Neuro/Spine and Orthopedic procedures are a must.
