Job DetailsJob Location: Asheville Omni Grove Park Inn - Asheville, NC 28804Position Type: Full-Time/Part-TimeSalary Range: $15.00 - $25.00Job Shift: AnyJob Category: Hospitality - Hotel Job Purpose: - The Valet Driver at Parking Management Services Inc. is responsible for providing exceptional customer service by safely and efficiently parking and retrieving vehicles for guests. This role is crucial in ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for all visitors, while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and courtesy. Key Responsibilities: - Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure, offering assistance and information as needed. - Safely park and retrieve vehicles in designated areas, ensuring the security and protection of guest property. - Maintain a neat and organized parking area, adhering to company policies and procedures. - Keep track of keys and parking tickets, ensuring accurate documentation and accountability. - Assist guests with loading and unloading luggage or other items as requested. - Provide directions and information about local attractions and services to enhance the guest experience. - Respond promptly to guest inquiries and resolve any issues with professionalism and courtesy. - Collaborate with team members and management to ensure efficient operations and exceptional service delivery. QualificationsRequired Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Required: - Previous experience as a valet driver or in a similar customer service role is preferred. - Must have a valid driver's license for a minimum of 2 years with a clean MVR - Pass a Drug Test including THC - Clean background check Required Skills and Abilities: - Excellent driving skills with a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. - Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with clients. - Ability to operate both manual and automatic transmission vehicles. - Good physical condition to stand, walk, and run for extended periods. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. - Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions precisely. - Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety procedures. - Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 1)Must be able to remain upright continuously on a hard surface for an 8-10 hour shift. 2)Must be able to move a minimum of 25 pounds up to 5 feet high without the aid of anotherperson. 3)Must be able to position one’s self appropriately in order to efficiently move from one area to anotherincluding other garages several blocks away. 4)Must be able to talk, clearly communicate, hear audible alarms, voice commands with backgroundnoise. 5)Must be able to visually identify numbers, colors & shapes, including peripheral 6)Occasionally (1/3 of the time or less) stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; reach, pull, push with hands andarms above/below head; use repeating motions more than twice per minute; repetition-using aninput device-a keyboard or mouse-in a steady manner. 7)Regularly (2/3 of the time or more) work in outdoor weather conditions to include direct sunlight,heat or cold; work in extreme heat (non-weather); use motorized company vehicle or a leased orpersonal vehicle for company business; maintain a valid driver’s license. #J-18808-Ljbffr
