This role combines hands-on development with team leadership, working closely with business stakeholders and clients to translate data into actionable insights. You’ll play a key role in managing reporting initiatives, ensuring data accuracy, and delivering high-quality BI solutions on time.How you'll make an impactDevelop, maintain, and enhance reports and dashboards using Microsoft Power BIPerform ad hoc and recurring report analysis, design, and processingPartner with business, client, and technical teams to gather and define requirementsCreate clear functional and technical documentation and provide project status updatesLead and supervise a small team of onshore/offshore developers and QA resources to ensure timely deliveryMonitor and ensure adherence to key Service Level Agreements (SLAs)Conduct unit testing to validate report accuracy and data integrityProvide training to business users and clients on BI tools and reporting solutionsServe as a project coordinator on key client initiatives as neededAbout YouBachelor’s degree (preferred in Computer/Information Science or Business/Commerce)Experience leading or supervising small teams of developers and QA analysts3–5 years of hands-on experience developing Power BI reports and applicationsWorking knowledge of SQL, databases, and data retrieval conceptsFamiliarity with HTML and web technologiesWork TraitsStrong verbal and written communication skillsSelf-starter with a strong work ethicFlexible and adaptable; able to manage both planned and unplanned workPractical problem-solver with a focus on resolving issuesCollaborative, respectful communicator with strong facilitation skillsComfortable working with senior leaders and external vendorsAble to work independently with minimal supervision and meet deadlinesAble to work on a hybrid-model with our team in Rolling Meadows, ILCompensation and benefitsWe offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
