Director of CPU Design Engineering

Leading a high-performing team, the full-time salaried Director of CPU Design Engineering will manage RTL design for next-generation AMD CPUs, driving project goals and collaborating with various engineering teams, with the opportunity to work onsite in Santa Clara, California, or potentially remotely. Key responsibilities Leading and coordinating a team of RTL design engineers across multiple design blocks Driving project design goals and dependencies with architects, DV, and physical design teams Providing technical leadership to resolve complex design problems in a dynamic environment Required qualifications BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science with relevant experience Proven experience leading and developing high-performing silicon design engineering teams Demonstrated success in leading complex silicon designs through tapeout, preferably in a CPU or advanced processor design environment Strong technical expertise in computer architecture and processor design Extensive experience with RTL and logic design, design methodology, and the silicon development lifecycle
