Medical/Oncology - Clinical Nurse (Nights)

Role Overview: Provides direct patient care in an inpatient medical oncology unit, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration. Participates in activities that ensure patient safety, quality care, and regulatory compliance, while engaging in ongoing professional development. Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans with collaborative input from patients, families, and the healthcare team, ensuring effective communication across care settings. Utilizes critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and barriers related to cultural, spiritual, and emotional factors. Maintains safety-sensitive responsibilities, requiring constant alertness and safe work practices. Qualifications: Requires a Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing, RN licensure, with preferred Bachelor’s Degree and less than 2 years of experience. No supervisory experience needed.
