Spartan Floor Coatings is a rapidly growing national franchise organization specializing in premium concrete coating systems, residential and commercial flooring solutions, and complete garage transformations.

As we continue expanding across the country, we're focused on building the systems, processes, and training programs that will support our franchise owners, their teams, and the long-term growth of our brand.

We're looking for a Corporate Trainer who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and has a proven track record of building, developing, and implementing training programs from the ground up. We're looking for someone who can identify opportunities, create structure, develop processes, and take ownership of bringing training initiatives from concept through execution.

The Corporate Trainer will play a key role in developing and strengthening Spartan's training and operational infrastructure. Working closely with company leadership and cross-functional teams, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, facilitating, and continuously improving training programs for franchise owners, their employees, and corporate team members.

The ideal candidate combines strong instructional development skills, exceptional attention to detail, operational understanding, and the ability to confidently facilitate training. You'll need to be comfortable working in an evolving environment, managing multiple priorities, and taking initiative to build solutions where processes may not yet exist.

Training Program Development & Facilitation

• Design, develop, and implement comprehensive training programs that support franchise operations, sales, customer experience, and overall business performance.
• Build structured training curricula, presentations, facilitator guides, training manuals, assessments, and supporting resources.
• Lead engaging in-person, virtual, and hands-on training sessions for franchise owners, employees, and corporate team members.
• Evaluate existing training programs, identify gaps, and implement improvements to strengthen consistency and effectiveness.
• Develop scalable training resources that can be consistently delivered as the franchise system expands.

Standard Operating Procedures & Process Development

• Create, document, organize, and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across key areas of the business.
• Collaborate with leadership and subject-matter experts to translate operational knowledge into clear, actionable processes.
• Establish consistent documentation standards, training resources, and implementation guidelines.
• Ensure training materials and SOPs remain accurate, organized, and updated as the business evolves.
• Support the rollout and adoption of new processes, systems, and operational standards across the franchise network.

Training Execution & Continuous Improvement

• Support new franchise owner onboarding and ongoing training initiatives.
• Partner with operations, sales, and leadership to identify performance gaps and prioritize training needs.
• Establish methods to evaluate training effectiveness, knowledge retention, and real-world implementation.
• Gather feedback from franchise owners, employees, and leadership to continuously improve training programs.
• Maintain organized training schedules, materials, documentation, and progress tracking.
• Take ownership of training initiatives from initial planning through implementation and follow-up.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in corporate training, learning and development, training program management, or a related field.
• Proven experience building, developing, and implementing training programs, rather than solely facilitating existing programs.
• Experience working in a startup, fast-growing company, emerging brand, or similarly fast-paced business environment.
• Demonstrated experience creating, documenting, and implementing SOPs and operational processes.
• Strong experience facilitating in-person, virtual, and interactive training sessions.
• Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to maintain accurate documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to independently manage multiple projects, deadlines, and shifting priorities.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify gaps and proactively develop solutions.
• Ability to work collaboratively with leadership and cross-functional teams while maintaining ownership of assigned initiatives.
• Proficiency with training development tools, presentation software, and digital learning platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within franchising, home services, construction, field services, or multi-location organizations.
• Experience developing training infrastructure during periods of rapid organizational growth.
• Background in operational training, sales training, or franchise onboarding.
• Experience implementing learning management systems (LMS), training assessments, and performance measurement tools.
• Experience supporting both classroom-based instruction and hands-on field training.

This position is based in Stuart, Florida, and we are considering qualified candidates located throughout the state of Florida. Candidates must be available for regular in-person work in Stuart and willing to travel nationally as needed to support franchise training and development initiatives.
