Qualifications:

• Active certification as a Special Education Teacher (appropriate state licensure required)
• Experience supporting students with severe cognitive and physical disabilities
• Skills in toileting and personal care assistance
• Familiarity with applied behavior analysis and specially designed instructional methods preferred
• Comfort working with non-verbal students and those on the autism spectrum
• Ability to work onsite, full-time

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality, individualized instruction to students in substantially separate classrooms
• Collaborate with RBTs and support staff to deliver effective interventions
• Assist students with daily living, communication, and social development
• Maintain documentation and data collection as required by student IEPs
