Risk Management Analyst

TopLine Financial Credit Union has been a member‑owned financial services cooperative since 1935. We are looking for outgoing individuals to join our Risk Management team that is dedicated to building life‑long relationships to help our members reach and manage their financial goals. A successful Risk Management Analyst will be able to do: Review transaction monitoring alerts, utilize knowledge and apply decision making skills to take appropriate action. Investigate, document and maintain detailed records. Prepare and review Suspicious Activity Reports. Review and prepare Currency Transaction Reports as necessary. Review 314(a) and 314(b). File police reports as applicable. Assist with Risk Management audits and exams as needed. Compile documentation and responses for requests from 3rd parties including, but not limited to, subpoenas, search warrants, law enforcement. Correspond with members when necessary to confirm questionable transactional activity intent. Take additional appropriate risk mitigation actions as needed. CDD/EDD review. Maintain knowledge and is subject matter expert of various department systems including by not limited to Verafin, BioCatch, AppGate. Assist with the development, review and update of department procedures. Comply with all applicable credit union policies, procedures and government regulations including BSA. Perform other tasks as assigned or requested. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years’ experience in BSA/AML/CFT/OFAC compliance, fraud and/or security or law enforcement background. BSA/AML/CFT/OFAC certification (CBSAP, CAMS) Experience writing and filing suspicious activity reports (SARs) Sound judgment and decision‑making skills. A significant level of trust, credibility, diplomacy, integrity and professionalism is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact. Work involves extensive personal contact with others and /or is usually of a personal, sensitive nature and/or confidential nature. Problem solving. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to work with all levels of management and credit union staff as well as members. Detail oriented with good organizational skills. Broad knowledge of and practical experience with credit union or other financial institution operating areas, functions, products and services and the laws and regulation which apply to credit unions. Personal Computer experience essential, preferably with Microsoft Office Suite software.
