Plasma Center Nurse LPN

Job Description Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) supports plasma center operations under the guidance of the Center Manager and Center Physician. Responsibilities Determine donor eligibility, manage informed consent, conduct medical history interview, perform physical examination, blood testing, and review serological protein electrophoresis (SPE). Evaluate donor reactions and respond to medical emergencies following SOPs. Consult with Center Physician and Medical Affairs on donor safety and medical findings. Support Hepatitis B and seasonal flu vaccination programs for employees. Manage employee incidents and coordinate further evaluation with occupational health or ER. Act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS and support investigations related to pandemic threats. Qualifications High‑school diploma or equivalent; graduate‑level nursing program with state requirements. Licensed or certified in the state where responsibilities will be assigned: LPN or LVN. Current CPR and AED certification. State‑required basic IV therapy certification. Completion of FDA approved training for BioLife Medical Support Specialist. Two years clinical or hospital experience.
