Senior Project Manager – Heavy Civil / Utilities & ExcavationWe are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale heavy civil construction projects with a focus on utilities, excavation, and site development. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience managing civil construction projects and a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects from preconstruction through completion.ResponsibilitiesLead projects from preconstruction through final completionManage project budgets, schedules, costs, and overall profitabilityOversee project teams, subcontractors, vendors, and field operationsCoordinate with owners, engineers, inspectors, and other project stakeholdersReview plans, specifications, contracts, and project requirementsManage underground utilities, excavation, grading, and site development projectsNegotiate and manage contracts, change orders, and subcontractor agreementsMonitor project performance and provide regular updates to company leadershipIdentify and resolve project issues to keep work moving efficientlyEnsure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budgetMentor and provide leadership to Project Managers and Project EngineersQualifications8+ years of project management experience in heavy civil constructionStrong experience with underground utilities, excavation, grading, and/or site developmentProven ability to manage complex civil construction projectsStrong understanding of project financials, scheduling, estimating, and contract managementAbility to read and interpret civil plans, specifications, and contract documentsStrong leadership, communication, negotiation, and organizational skillsDegree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred but not requiredBenefitsCompetitive base salaryPerformance-based bonus opportunitiesComprehensive health benefits401(k) with company matchPaid time off and holidaysLong-term career advancement with a stable, growing contractor
