Your Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, order diagnostic evaluations, and create personalized care strategies
• Diagnose and manage acute, chronic, or episodic health conditions alongside collaborative physicians or independently (based on credentials)
• Educate patients and their families on preventative health, overall wellness, and effective management of health issues
• Prescribe necessary medications and therapies within your practice scope
• Engage in chronic care management and patient follow-up
• Work together with interdisciplinary teams to ensure integrated, comprehensive patient care
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation within electronic medical records (EMR)

Educational Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree
• Graduation from an NCLEX-accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Essential Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in Florida
• National certification as Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or appropriate specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to complete within 90 days)
