Intellectual Property / Patent Partner & Senior Attorney (Branded Pharma) Locations: Various Office Locations (Including Midwest, Mid‑Atlantic, and Florida) Position Type: Full‑Time, Partner or Senior Attorney (Hybrid) About the Opportunity We are expanding our dynamic Intellectual Property practice group and seeking entrepreneurial Partners and Senior Level IP Attorneys with an established background in the Branded Pharmaceutical and chemical space. This is a premier opportunity to build a practice within a rapidly scaling, collaborative national platform that avoids the rigid silos of giant firms. We want well‑rounded practitioners who thrive on variety, blending top‑tier patent prosecution, strategic counseling, freedom‑to‑operate studies, and high‑stakes Hatch‑Waxman litigation. Core Responsibilities Branded Client Counseling: Advise innovative drug and life sciences companies on market‑entry, lifecycle management, and global IP portfolio development. Hatch‑Waxman Litigation & Prosecution: Lead litigation efforts on the branded side while managing patent docks and drafting complex patent applications. Flexible Legal Practice: Maintain a diverse workload. Our group thrives when attorneys balance litigation, due diligence, and opinion work with active preparation and prosecution, rather than focusing 100% on pure prosecution. Experience & Qualifications Partner Candidates: Must possess a solid, verifiable portable book of business in excess of $1M. Senior Level Candidates: Must bring sophisticated, high‑level IP and transactional patent experience with a strong trajectory for growth. Purely Branded Pharma Background: Extensive, recent experience advising clients on the innovator/branded side of the pharmaceutical sector. Note: Candidates whose current practices or most recent work are primarily focused on the generic/ANDA defense side of IP will not fit our current conflict parameters. Credentials: JD from an accredited law school. Registered practitioner admitted to practice before the USPTO (Patent Bar strongly preferred).
