SAP Costing Functional Analyst

SAP ECC – Costing & Controlling (Core Focus)Configure, support, and enhance SAP ECC Controlling (CO) modules, including:Cost Center Accounting (CO‑OM‑CCA)Internal Orders (CO‑OM‑OPA)Product Costing (CO‑PC: Material Costing, Cost Object Controlling)Profitability Analysis (CO‑PA – Costing‑based and/or Account‑based)Manage standard and actual costing, cost estimates, overhead calculations, and variance analysisEnsure accurate FI‑CO integration and cost flow validationSupport month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close activities related to costing and controllingBusiness Process & AnalysisPartner with Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to gather and document business requirementsTranslate business needs into functional designs and configuration solutionsIdentify process gaps and recommend SAP ECC best‑practice improvementsSupport audits, compliance reviews, and internal controls related to costingIntegration & Cross‑Functional SupportSupport integration between FI, CO, MM, PP, and SD modulesCollaborate with ABAP and technical teams for reports, enhancements, interfaces, and data fixesProvide production support, issue resolution, and root cause analysisTesting, Training & DocumentationPrepare and execute unit testing, integration testing, and UATDevelop functional documentation, process flows, and configuration documentsProvide end‑user training and post‑deployment support Optional / Preferred: SAP S/4HANA ExposureFamiliarity with SAP S/4HANA Finance concepts, including:Universal Journal (ACDOCA)Account‑Based CO‑PASimplified Product Costing and FI‑CO data modelExperience supporting or participating in ECC to S/4HANA migration or readiness projectsExposure to SAP Fiori financial apps is a plus Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field5+ years of strong hands‑on experience in SAP ECC FI/CO, with emphasis on Costing and ControllingDeep knowledge of:Product Costing (Standard / Actual Costing)Cost Center AccountingFI‑CO integration and reconciliationExperience supporting financial close processesStrong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills Preferred QualificationsSAP FI/CO certificationManufacturing, high‑tech, or supply‑chain industry experiencePrior experience working in a hybrid ECC Soft SkillsStrong problem‑solving and analytical mindsetAbility to work independently and in cross‑functional teamsDetail‑oriented with a continuous improvement focus
